„Research must challenge, otherwise it cannot provide us with anything new...“

— Gitta Peyn

FORMWELT / WELTFORM
Systemic linguistic, science and 3rd order cybernetics.

Gitta and Ralf Peyn began their research in 1988/89 and over thirty years have continued and creatively merged the work of Niklas Luhmann, Heinz von Foerster, George Spencer-Brown, Humberto Maturana, Francisco Varela, Paul Watzlawick, John von Neumann, Alan Turing, Marvin Minsky and many others.

Their strictly transdisciplinary approach has made it possible that systems research in the humanities can now be carried out with scientific rigor. They have constructed a reference system including FORMlogic, which raises precision and complexity management of human thinking and communication to a new level.

The results were published from 2017 onwards by Carl Auer Verlag, Germany, among others, and in a short time have aroused serious interest in science, politics and consulting.

The FORMWELT team is growing continuously. A global working group that meets annually at the Larnaca Conferences will make FORMWELT Online the basis of its discussions in 2022.

In 2020, Gitta Peyn presented FORMWELT as a tool for global sustainable crisis management at the United Nations Global Leadership Conference and WAAS.

FORMWELT is a semantically and formally self-sufficient linguistic system, a programming language for languages and meaning that can be spoken by humans and machines. FORMWELT allows unambiguous communication based on mutual understanding.

FORMWELT functions as a universal reference system through which people not only playfully learn the basics of constructivism, systems theory, model theory, philosophy of science, logic and mathematics. It was also created to end Babylonian language confusion without losing individuality.

Working with FORMWELT provides high concept clarity and meaning density. As a communication platform, this system helps orient human communication towards understanding.

Construction of the FORMWELT Online platform has begun. An accompanying AI has already been conceptualized: ELI - Elevated Linguistic Intelligence.

WELTFORM is the mathematics behind FORMWELT: a poly-valent FORMlogic that allows us to model and study complex decision systems such as human cognition and communication, and to verify our analyses via computer emulations.

WELTFORM helps to take a look in the mirror of our cognitive and communicative performance and use our analysis for skillful orientation and organization.

From WELTFORM we develop complex models for the analysis of communication dynamics, organizational design and much more.

In particular, the so-called "Crazy Machines" could play an interesting role in the construction of a new generation of Artificial Intelligences in the future. Currently, they are used to analyze the behavior of complex living systems, societal evolution, and structural coupling.

In cooperation with
ISET Foundation, India, Lucknow

Project description in short:

As soon as the platform FORMWELT Online is finished and a version of FORMWELT in English is implemented, the platform will be made available to the ISET Foundation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvaJlW4JXVc

Donations or partners for easy-to-use tablets will be organized so that children and adults from precarious backgrounds in the catchment area of the ISET (India Science, Education and Technology) Foundation (https://www.isetf.org/) can work with FORMWELT and come into (learning) contact with children and adults all over the world and educate themselves systemically.

The project leaders will also look for on-site solutions to improve the educational environments of children and adults in precarious situations and provide development assistance with FORMWELT gUG funds and projects.

Project duration

This is an ongoing project.

Project support

Dr. Sandeep Singh will be responsible for establishing contacts with governments and companies in India to ensure a wide reach in India's poorest areas.

Project information

To face the big challenges of climate crisis, economic crises, collapse of biodiversity, global versatil and systemic thinking people are needed.

India is a country in an economic boom, but its education system has a lot of catching up to do, not only in terms of distribution, but also in terms of content. The education system dates back to colonial times and does not provide the children and people in the second educational path with the necessary systemic concepts and models to meet the coming challenges.

From a systemic point of view, this means that the coming metacrises cannot be met at eye level, not only organizationally and structurally, but also in terms of content.

FORMWELT research provides such education to children and adults from precarious backgrounds.
ISET Foundation India is keen to see this project begin in India to help the country set itself up for a sustainable future.

The employees of FORMWELT gUG i. Gr. accompany the project for an indefinite period of time, help with the conceptual work and the establishment of functional education systems in the context and catchment area of the ISET Foundation, India.
This includes on-site solutions such as: Procuring premises, ensuring the nutrition of the children in the respective school, accompanying the integration of the children who are more highly empowered through education in their families and social environments, ensuring contacts of the children and adults with other projects of this kind in other countries and more.

Publications

Results of work are published on the FORMWELT online platform.
Annual reports on progress in the field are published by Carl Auer Magazin or in ePublications on the FORMWELT online research.

Projektdauer

Half a year.
Start: 4/2021

Project description

The tool "Systemic Communication - Reorganization of the Undetermined" - RdU - generated from WELTFORM/uFORM iFORM is specifically constructed to examine communication systems for their functionality and to orient them accordingly.

The training of the teaching staff is aimed at viewing themselves as a conflict system in different contexts (management, students, parents) with different environmental expectations and to transform undesirable communication dynamics into desirable ones through simple changes in the FORM of communication, without having to access psychological interventions.

In this way, the teaching staff should be able to work in a more conflict relaxed and efficient way in everyday school life, and help the children from the remedial area to deliver simple changes of perspective in individual/interactive conflict management.

Project description

In order to meet the great challenges of climate crisis, economic crises, collapse of biodiversity, globally versatil and systemically thinking people are needed.

Special children from the remedial sector often still possess the fundamental systemic abilities inherent in human beings, which other children lose in the course of their progress in the educational system. The educational systems that are still geared towards linear learning do not work for many children from the special needs sector; they need more systemic approaches, as these work more intuitively and link more easily with inner experience.

FORMWELT language can do just that, allowing children to learn to form and share their knowledge systemically and collaboratively with teachers to develop their curricula. They can also learn collaboratively with children and adults anywhere in the world - as the platform grows, more such opportunities emerge.

In this way, they learn about different language and cultural systems via the platform, which they can relate to via icons and thus make tangible for themselves.

As soon as the platform FORMWELT Online is finished and a version of FORMWELT in English, German and ICON-based language is implemented, the platform will be made available to the Advent School Oberhavel.

Accompanying simple computers, which are also suitable for children from the support area, are organized and made available to the school.

The children learn basic systemic concepts with a FORMWELT variant translated into intuitive icons, which they can then match with German and English terms, in order to work out curricula collaboratively in the classes and to clarify and calm their thoughts in a playful, creative way.

The children are also given the opportunity to learn and play together with children from other countries (initially through FORMWELT pilot projects such as the one with ISET Foundation, India) and to develop joint curricula.

To do this, FORMWELT Online teachers are trained by FORMWELT staff to help children become conceptually stronger.

The project is inspired by findings from learning research that icon-based learning in visual languages is easier for children and adults from remedial backgrounds, making it easier for them to learn to establish relations between inner experience and external signs.

Project support

We are still looking for project supervisors from the field of education who are interested in preparing the project scientifically and presenting it to the federal government, the states and independent schools.
We are also in discussion with UNESCO Education. A contact has already been established.

Colleagues and volunteers of FORMWELT gUG i. Gr. accompany the project for an indefinite time.
